Farmshop in LA

One of the best brunches ever. So good that I forgot to take pictures after awhile, so I only got pics from the beginning of the meal.

Deviled eggs with smoked trout. Ryan needs to teach me how to make this. It's the best deviled eggs ever!

Kyoto theme restaurant

This restaurant looks like a small Japanese town, but begin each sliding shoji door is a table, not a house. The food was steamed over a tray of green tea. It was delicious!

Thinly sliced pork with veggies underneath.

Seared salmon.

Fried mushrooms and asparagus.

Tsukiji ramen

Super delicious ramen featured in the nytimes travel section. Made by two men in the smallest kitchen I've ever seen and eaten standing up at counters.

At the end you bus your own bowls to the 'sink'.

Hawaii food

Azuki bowl shave ice at waiola's. With Mochi balls and condensed milk. My favorite!

Ono's shoyu poke, made with ahi tuna, soy sauce, onions, and special ingredients

Spicy garlic edamame (soy beans) also from Ono's. I think I'll try to make this dish at home. The key is the sprinkling of Mac nuts on top.
