First meal in Spain

Brian's brother took us to a ghetto looking neighborhood so we could eat with the locals! The food was super delicious and the Rioja (red wine) was the best house red I've ever had. The picture below is just of the first course (tapas!). It's croquettes, chickpea stew, and mushrooms with jam (that's what it said on the menu so I was thinking like strawberry jam but they actually meant HAM aka Jamon in Spanish). This was the best course by far and the best tapas by far. I forgot to take pictures of the second course and dessert because I was drunk off of Rioja by that time. The nice waiter who didn't speak any English also gave us free shots of some naaasty acid yellow alcohol. Since the brothers don't drink and we didn't want to be insulting I had to drink 2.5 shots. Let's just say I ended the night jumping up and down on the hotel bed, which was muy fun!!
